I heard that the entrance exam will be in the month of Dec 2013 or Jan 2014. I am constantly calling them to know when they will give the application. Please let me know if you have some idea on this. Your efforts are highly appreciated. Also, i reside in west tambaram near ramesh nagar. I heard they have only limited pick up points. Will they accept if we suggest for new routes? I am a working mother. In the morning i can drop my kid, but in the evening no one is there to pick up if the pick up point is too far from my home.
RKAZA 2013-01-05 15:36:55 Hi All, I have applied SM1 for my son at SSM, Perungalathur branch. I heard a lot of good things about the school and decided to try my luck applying for the same. Though I stay at Valasaravakkam and my son studies at Pon Vidyashram, Valasaravakkam Branch I had decided to change his school due to its shift system(for more revenue), frequent change of class teachers( 4have changed so far in UKG), management attitude. On knocking many school doors I was driven away with negative feelings that admissions to 1st STD is next to impossible. Finally I heard about this school and with lot of follow up efforts I finally managed to get the application for for 1STD(SM01, as they label) and apply. Though admission is based on clearance of a written test from 1STD onwards. If my son is admitted I have to shift my residence near to the school or near to their bus pick up points. I had taken this hard decision though I have to travel 40kms one way to office daily. Reading my story above can any of the parents whose wards are studying in SSM enlighten me on how the school is about (in terms of curicullam, extra curicullam activities, spoken, ) Please do the needful Hi RKAAZ I'm shifting from Trichy to Tambram this march.
