Hello, I a am recent PR grad and currently applying for jobs. I've applied to countless positions and I recently received an email for an intern position for a start up company. They have asked me to create content pertaining to the company and if they like my work, then they will schedule an interview. However the amount of content they've asked me create seems extensive, especially in the time frame they've requested. And quite honestly it seems like they're looking for free labour. They have asked for a press release about the company email pitch + PR release strategies for global media coverage I have never been asked to create this much content before an actual interview has been set and I was under the impression that companies would either ask for sample pieces which I can gladly provide or a portfolio with previous work. Would it be fair to politely email back with pieces of my work similar to what they're asking for ie, PR release. Or should I just buckle down and create the content they've asked for?
